About our Rolex service
Rolex's Oyster case and self-winding Perpetual movement form an exceptionally robust, sealed construction. That makes them service-friendly over the long term, but keeping accurate timekeeping and water resistance still requires regular, expert maintenance. In our workshop we work to the manufacturer's specifications, with high-quality parts, on every Oyster Perpetual, Submariner, Daytona, GMT-Master II, Datejust, Day-Date, Explorer and Sea-Dweller.
Common faults & characteristics
- Lubricant dries out over long use, degrading timekeeping accuracy.
- The case and crown gaskets age, putting water resistance at risk.
- Oyster and Jubilee bracelet links stretch and loosen over time.
- Magnetic interference near modern electronics can cause deviations in accuracy.
- The rotating bezel and crown guard can develop play over time.
